This is Our Realm

This is Our Realm, was a two weeklong project made solely for the Metroidvania 2023 game jam. Creating this game was a unique experience. 1) I had never made a Metroidvania game before. 2) I became ill with COVID, and most of this was created while I was dealing with that. I'll blame any bugs or horrible issues on this.......(that's a joke) 

I hope you enjoy this short Metroidvania project. I had intended to include several other upgrades, such as a gun of some kind, health upgrades etc. But I wanted to call the project as good as it can be at this point in time. I have other projects I'd like to work on as well. There might still be some bugs, hopefully most of them have been ironed out.  As always, thank you for playing and for the support. 

CONTROLS:

***if/ when the game goes fullscreen in the browser click the mouse inside the game screen. Sometimes the keyboard won't respond until you do this on ITCH. 

Keyboard Controls Only (intended to integrate gamepad controls did not get around to it)

Up arrow: Jump

Up/Up Arrow - Double Jump

Left/Right Keys - Move Player 

Down Key - Roll/Dodge objects

A Button - Attack with weapon/Deflect thrown enemy objects

E Button - Open doors/gates when prompted
